COMPETITION WINNERS

Winners and Runners-up in the Championship, Pairs and Triples are expected to represent the club in the following external competitions:-

Championship Winner - plays in the Steel Trophy (Edinburgh Champion of Club Champions) in the same year. Also, in the following year, they can choose to represent the Club in either the Scottish Singles or the East of Scotland singles. The earlier rounds in the Scottish are played at weekends on various greens within our district. The District winner goes to Ayr Northfield to represent our district in the National Finals. The earlier rounds in the East of Scotland games are played on a weekday with the District Finals at the green of the District Secretary and the final being played at the green of the East of Scotland President.

Championship Runner-up – is entitled to play in either the East of Scotland Championships or the Scottish Singles depending on the choice of the champion.

Scottish Pairs Winners – play in the EWBA Pairs in the following season. Also during the following year, they represent the club in the Scottish Pairs

Club Pairs Winners – play in the ESWBA pairs

Scottish Triples Winners - play in the EWBA Triples in the following season. Also during the following year, they can choose to represent the club in either the Scottish Triples or the East of Scotland Triples

Scottish Triples Runners-up – play in the ESWBA Triples
